Jack T. Smith
Chief Inspector
Jack is an Auditor and Quality Assurance expert for Air Conformity. He has also developed maintenance training programs and performed other technical services in his long aviation career. He has written Quality Programs, Inspection Programs, and Maintenance Programs for various operators in both CFR 135 and CFR 121 operations as well as CFR 145 facilities. He is experienced in obtaining Export Certificate of Airworthiness (Export C of A) and managed various fleet aircraft from Canadian and overseas operations for N-Registry in the United States. He has been the Chief Inspector and Manager of Quality Assurance for a CFR 121/135 air carrier. Most recently, Jack worked for Honeywell Engines and Systems (Formerly Allied Signal Engines and Textron Lycoming, formerly Avco Lycoming) and is retired from Honeywell. He has worked for Delta AirElite as a process development consultant, training instructor and facilities auditor.
Jack was formerly in the United States Navy, attended various universities, and holds an Airframe and Powerplant certificate and a Commercial Pilots License.
